One run that produces one finished artifact. A follow-up you accept is its own mission, because it does its own work. Skipping a suggestion costs nothing, and neither does asking a question in the composer — a question gets an answer, not a metered document.
Neither is charged for. A run you cancel and a run that fails are both excluded from the meter, and if it had already spent tokens they are put back. A run already in flight is never interrupted by the meter, either.
No — they are metered separately. A mission is one finished deliverable. A browser step is one action the machine takes inside a tool you are signed into — a click, a field filled, a page read. The trial includes 40 a day and Operator 600 a month; past that, 100 tokens buys 5 more steps. An hourly ceiling also stops a runaway job.
Nothing stops mid-run and nothing is deleted — the brief keeps ranking and your history is untouched. You choose how to carry on: wait for the meter to reset, start a plan if you are still on the trial, or buy extra missions and keep going today.
Because they are measuring different things. The trial is ten a day so you can feel what a daily habit is like, fourteen days running. Operator is a hundred a month so you can spend it in whatever shape your week actually has — a heavy Monday and a quiet Thursday. Most weeks are not ten missions a day, and extra missions are there for the ones that are.
Drafting, planning and research run unattended. Anything that sends or posts asks you first — on the page where your extension can show it, otherwise here in the app — unless you asked the extension to send it in words, in which case it sends. The sign-in browser always asks in the app. Anything that spends or deletes asks every time. That boundary is the product, not a setting.

Yes, in Settings → Billing, any time. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so the allowance stays yours until it runs out, your deliverables stay readable, and any extra missions you bought stay in your account.
